Ruby has a long tale that goes back to history. Ruby is known as “ratnaraj” in Sanskrit, which means “monarch of precious stones.” While the ancient Chinese saw ruby as a sign of wealth and riches, the ancient Greeks saw them as a symbol of love and passion. Rubies were believed to have the power to ward off evil spirits and protect the wearer from harm during the Middle Ages.
